SEARCH Phase 1 Main Findings Published in New England Journal of Medicine

Congratulations to the SEARCH investigators and the entire SEARCH Collaboration on the publication of our Phase I findings "HIV Testing and Treatment with the Use of a Community Health Approach" in the New England Journal of Medicine. In conjunction with the other 2 published trials—we know that Universal test and treat works—and can reduce incidence and mortality. And we showed in SEARCH that a multi-disease approach provides added community health benefits. We also know that we will need more than test and treat-- alone it is not enough and that is why we continue important work in the SEARCH study.
